Cannabis One Appoints New Members & Strengthens Its Management Team

Savvy investors understand that a company is only as good as its management team, and Cannabis One Holdings Inc. (CSE:CBIS) (OTC:CAAOF) is one company that continues to add seasoned experts to its roster.

On Friday, Cannabis One announced the appointment of a new company president and chairman of the board, both of which bring a wealth of experience to the team.

"We are very excited to have Josh and Chris, who have been working closely with the Company for over two years now and have sat on our board of directors since we went public earlier this year, take on much more active roles with the Company," said Cannabis One CEO Jeffery A. Mascio.

Josh brings a wealth of capital markets knowledge and experience and will be instrumental in assisting the Company with its future financing needs, while Chris brings his business acumen and insight to help the Company operate at a higher and more efficient level," he added.

Cannabis One Appoints Two New Team Members

Joshua Mann, the company's new president, is the co-founder and president of Wildhorse Capital Partners, a merchant bank and capital markets advisory company based in Calgary. He also served as the vice president of business development for a Canadian oil and gas company that is now Pipestone Energy Corp., where he played an integral part of raising over $160 million in equity financing.

Prior to that, Mann worked as an investment banking analyst at Stifel Financial Corp. where he advised businesses on equity, debt, and M&A mandates, assisting issuers in raising over $3 billion in capital. He holds a BA in Economics with a minor in finance from the University of Calgary.

Apart from his capital markets expertise, Cannabis One's new president also has experience within the cannabis industry. Mann sits on the advisory board member of Rocky Mountain Extracts Corp, an Alberta-based cannabinoid extraction company.

Christopher Fenn, Cannabis One's newly appointed chairman of the board is also co-founder of Wildhorse Capital Partners and sits on several private company boards. Prior to co-founding Wildhorse, Fenn served as the senior vice president of business development at Gabriella's Kitchen (CSE:GABY) (OTCQB:GABLF), a California-based cannabis and CBD company with operations in Canada and the US and a portfolio of cannabis brands.

He also served as managing director at North American merchant bank, Oliver Capital Partners Inc.

In short, Cannabis One's newly appointed team members offer a wealth of knowledge and experience to its already stacked management team.

It will be exciting to see how these new members influence the company moving forward.
