Honu Assets

Cannabis One completed a deal to acquire Honu assets for US$10.28M on May 6th, adding to the portfolio a widely acclaimed brand. Honu was declared The Best Edible Company at the 2016 Dope Industry Awards in Washington, and best edible and best infused product at the 2019 Colorado THC Cup—placing Honu among a select few brands to have won multi-state awards.

This soon to be completed acquisition is expected to add US$20.3 million in annual system-wide brand revenue through the Honu channel, during fiscal 2019, with an estimated EBITDA margin of between 22-31%.

Oregon Expansion

By mid-May, Cannabis One expanded its multi-state footprint for both CBD and THC-infused products with the leasing of two manufacturing and processing facilities in the state of Oregon—totaling over 21,000 sq ft.

The existing facilities will be transitioned into state-of-the-art manufacturing and distribution centers. Coupled with the announcement, Cannabis One unveiled its new “Herah” product line, consisting of CBD-wellness products, inspired by cannabis industry pioneer, Herah Osborne.

By 2020, the company aims to have a presence in Alaska, California, Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, Oregon, Vermont, and Washington.
