Cannabis Penny Stocks Rebound Today Despite Low Trades

Cannabis penny stocks were up and down yesterday on the Canadian markets, but today, it's green all around. The US stock market opened this morning after a day break for Thanksgiving.

Today, we'll have a closer look at two cannabis penny stocks trending on the TSXV and their latest company movements.

Namaste Technologies Inc. (TSXV:N)

Namaste Technologies operates out of Vancouver, BC, and is a cannabis e-commerce company. Across the globe, the cannabis company operates in 26 different countries. Namaste is among the top traded Canadian cannabis stocks traded on the TSXV for 2018. 

This morning, the cannabis penny stock announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Cannmart Inc, has signed a production acquisition with Weed Me Inc. Cannmart will be purchasing medical cannabis from Weed Me to offer on its e-commerce online platform. 

Sean Dollinger, President and CEO of Namaste, said:

"We're pleased to announce this Agreement with Weed Me. We've secured supply from their first production and will look forward to offering their product to our patients. By leveraging our technology platforms, expertise in e-commerce and incredible customer service, we intend on improving the buying experience for medical patients and becoming Canada's leading online platform for medical cannabis sales."

According to Yahoo Finance, the cannabis penny stock is trading at $1.42 a share, up +$0.01 (+0.71%).

The Supreme Cannabis Company, Inc. (TSXV:FIRE)

The Supreme Cannabis Company is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, and it engages in the production of medical cannabis. The company was previously a pharmaceutical company but switched to cannabis in December of 2017.

Two days ago, CFN Media, the leading agency and financial media network in the North American cannabis industry, put out a piece on Supreme Cannabis. With so many players in the space, this is a positive step for the Canadian cannabis company. You can see the full article here.

According to Yahoo Finance, the cannabis penny stock is currently trading at $1.59 a share, up +$0.02 (+1.27%).
