Cannabis Penny Stocks Up and Down Today

Major cannabis stocks and cannabis penny stocks are up and down on the US and Canadian markets today. The markets have picked up since last week. Today, we'll take a closer look at a few cannabis penny stock movers on the TSXV.

Namaste Technologies Inc. (TSXV:N)

Namaste Technologies through its subsidiaries operates as a cannabis e-commerce company and is headquartered in Vancouver, BC. 

This morning, the cannabis penny stock announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Cannmart Inc., has signed a Delivery Agreement to provide same-day delivery in the Greater Toronto Area. Cannmart will deliver its medical cannabis products through Pinapple Express Delivery Inc.

Cannmart will offer rush-order delivery at a flat rate of $30, or $15 for orders that are over $200. Same-day delivery will cost consumers $15, or it will be free on orders over $200.

Sean Dollinger, President and CEO of Namaste, said:

"We are very pleased to announce the launch of Pineapple Express same-day delivery service. We invested in Pineapple Express some time ago, so it's exciting to see this project come full circle as we launch services in the GTA area. The Company is looking forward to launching same-day delivery services through Cannmart in other regions as we expand our platform."  

According to Yahoo Finance, the cannabis penny stock is currently trading at $1.32 a share, down -$0.05 (-3.65%).

Canopy Rivers Inc. (TSXV:RIV)

Canopy Rivers is a public investment firm based out of Toronto, Ontario. The cannabis penny stock focusses specifically on investing in cannabis companies. This morning, RIV shares started trading green but have since corrected.

Yesterday, Canopy Rivers reported its second-quarter financial highlights. In the report, the company highlights its achievements, including its successful listing on the TSX Venture Exchange.

“The second quarter was highlighted by several key milestones for Canopy Rivers, including the closing of our private placement financing, our go public transaction and listing on the TSX Venture Exchange, our first European investment, and several new developments from our existing portfolio companies,” said Bruce Linton, Chairman and CEO of Canopy Rivers.

According to Yahoo Finance, the cannabis penny stock is currently trading at $3.73 a share, down -$0.06 (-1.58%),
