Element 7 is speeding up its expansion processes as it opened three new stores in Mendota, Willits, and Chula Vista this week. The three stores were opened in seven days as the company continues to input its retail footprints across California. Mendota is a rich agricultural city with a history. It is within 30 miles west of Fresno and is dubbed the Cantaloupe Capital of the world. Element 7 is the only licensed retailer of cannabis in the city. It anticipates serving Fresno’s customer base and beyond due to the lack of licensed retailers in this part of California.
The second store is in Willits, in the heart of Mendocino county. This is in addition to the stores it already has in the county. Element 7 is now the only retailer in California with stores in both Humboldt and Mendocino counties, two of the main centers of cannabis production.
The third store is located in Chula Vista, four miles north of the border of Mexico, expanding the company’s production hub into southern California. The store will feature a resident DJ, crafts, and Hispanic brands such as La Familia, Calavera, and Humo to attract and cater to the local market.

These three new stores have taken the total Element 7 stores to 12 in the state. The cannabis retail outlet is in the final stage of approval to open retail dispensaries in Napa City, Moreno Valley, Fresno, Oakland, and San Francisco before the end of the year.
