If you thought earnings season was over, don't get too comfortable. On Tuesday, the scheduled date for the CannaRoyalty earnings report was released. Since word broke, CannaRoyalty has dropped nearly 2%.

If all goes as planned, CannaRoyalty will be posting its Q2 financial earnings on Thursday, August 23rd.

It's going to be interesting to see the direction the CannaRoyalty stock takes after the report comes out, considering it will be posted well before market close.

The earnings report will be posted at 6:30 a.m. ET, with a CannaRoyalty conference call taking place at 8:30 a.m. ET. During the call, company members will discuss the Q2 results as well as give highlights from the quarter.

Will the Report Beat Expectations?

There's no way of saying at the moment. But, the cannabis company has been doing well this year.

From working in the Californian market to moving the company into other states, such as Florida, optimism is a reasonable feeling to have towards the Ottawa-based company.

Despite everything that's been happening lately for the company, the CannaRoyalty stock has found itself in the red zone today (on the American market at least; in its home country of Canada, the CannaRoyalty stock is up).

Maybe that means people in the US are worried about the CannaRoyalty earnings report. Or maybe, the news wasn't exciting enough to shoot the CNNRF stock into the green. Either way, the stock is down.

According to Yahoo Finance, at 3:38 p.m. EDT, the CNNRF stock was trading at $3.6998, which puts it down 1.34%.
