Just before the holidays, President Trump signed the 2018 Farm Bill making hemp legal in the US. While consumption was already deemed legal, growing hemp stocks was not legal across all US states. In addition to that, clear legal distinctions between hemp-derived CBD and marijuana-derived CBD were not in place. Now, the air is cleared, and hemp stocks are thriving.

Let's take a closer look at a few hemp stocks that are trading green today and their latest announcements.

Hemp Stocks: Isodiol International (CSE:ISOL)

Isodiol International develops, markets, distributes, and sells hemp-based products in Canada, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. The company is based in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Today, ISOL remains one of the top hemp stocks for percentage gains on the day. However, the company hasn't released any company news in nine days. At that time, the company commented on the Farm Bill signing.

“The Company is very pleased with the decisions of Congress and President Trump,” said CEO of the hemp stock, Marcos Agramont. “The Company has long invested resources in the United States in anticipation of the legalization of hemp, and now we believe these investments are now being validated. We remain committed to continuing the development of hemp-derived CBD for the benefit of individuals worldwide.”

According to Yahoo Finance, the hemp stock is trading at $15.82 a share, up +$0.65 (+4.28%). Charlotte's Web remains one of the top hemp stocks trading on the CSE today.
