Possible Explanations for Why NXTTF Stock Closed Today Up Almost 12%

The NXTTF stock closed up nearly 12% on Friday, January 25th. It is one of a handful of Canadian weed stocks that performed well today.

Ten days after Namaste Technologies (OTCQB:NXTTF) (TSXV:N) announced the acceleration of Expiry of Warrants, NXTTF stock moved higher, closing the day in the double-digits.

At market close, NXTTF stock was up 11.40%. Its trading price was sitting at $1.1307. Three days ago, Namaste Technologies' number of daily trades fell significantly, and Namaste stock was in the red, down around 2%; so it's likely investors were happy with today's trading results.

Friday's stock jump also comes 13 days after the Vancouver, British Columbia-based company disclosed it has moved into a consulting agreement with independent capital markets advisory corporation Incite Capital Markets.

2019: The Year of NXTTF Stock?

The number of daily trades for NXTTF stock may have dropped earlier this week, but that doesn't mean that Namaste Technologies stock has hit a roadblock. Today proved that. Plus, there's a lot to be happy about when it comes to NXTTF's performance in 2019.

Kicking off the new year, shares of Namaste Technologies moved 30% higher. The surge followed news that the Canadian cannabis company hired a new Chief Legal Officer. The company appointed Neil Kothari.

Good days and bad days aside, cannabis investors may want to watch the movement of NXTTF stock moving forward. Namaste Technologies is an emerging leader in the cannabis space, primarily in the vaporizer space, but apart from that, the company is expanding its focuses in 2019. This year, the company wants to enter into more strategic partnerships and expand product offerings. That, of course, could have an impact on NXTTF stock.
