And the Oscar goes to... 1933 Industries! What? Will an Oscar appearance help out TGIF stock?

1933 Takes on the Oscars

The Academy Awards, also known as the Oscars, is one of the biggest annual awards shows in the US. The entire event is televised and watched every year by viewers around the world. This year, it will take place Sunday, February 24th, and 1933 Industries will make its debut at the event!

At least, 1933 Industries (CSE:TGIF) (OTCQX:TGIFF) will be debuting at the WOW Creations Celebrity Gift Lounge, an event that caters to the Oscar nominees and others involved, and happens tomorrow, February 22nd. Infused MFG, 1933's subsidiary, will be gifting its Canna Hemp CBD Relief Cream and CBD Elixirs.

"We look forward to introducing our products to a celebrity audience during the week of the Academy Awards," said Chris RebentischUSA COO. "Our goal is to create awareness and build a connection to our Canna Hemp™ brand while educating and promoting the many benefits of cannabinoids."

At the time of writing, TGIF stock is trading even on the CSE today. In 2019, the cannabis stock has seen exponential growth, but it seems investors aren't impressed with the company's latest announcement. Perhaps once some celebrities get their hands on Canna Hemp, investors will change their tune. If 1933 can get major stars on board with their products, it could bring big profit to the company. Especially if they seal influencer deals with celebs.
