Crop Infrastructure Corp. (CSE:CROP) (OTC:CRXPF) announced last week that it has been granted the final approval for an additional 20,000 sq/ft of canopy space.
The Vancouver-based operation was granted the new space from CalCannabis Cultivation Licensing— a division of the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA). The new canopy space will be apart of the Humboldt California Campus.
Crop Infrastructure Corp
Michael Yorke, the CROP CEO, states:
“With the approval of this additional twenty thousand square feet, the Humboldt Campus will triple in size and tenant production capacity. CROPs portfolio of cannabis infrastructure assets includes two Washington State facilities as well as the Humboldt campus in California, the largest cannabis market in the world. Management will continue to aggressively pursue new worldwide opportunities and expand its portfolio of tenant growers and infrastructure assets in strategic licensed jurisdictions.”
This Humboldt campus houses 10,000 square feet of space that grows medicinal cannabis in a greenhouse facility. Investors can attend an information session at the Vancouver Club on June 21st, at 1:30 PM PST. Management of Crop will be available at the session to answer any questions.
Earlier this month, CROP announced that it is acquiring the non-exclusive rights to distribute the line of hemp root oil based Juve products in the U.S. This new agreement gives exclusive rights to the Italian Yield Growth Corp’s proprietary therapeutic and cosmetic products. Juve and CROP will negotiate for a trial of 30 days for the exclusive right to infuse the products together. They will distribute them from Washington and California.
As demand continues to rise for recreational and medicinal cannabis in the U.S. and Canada, cannabis stocks like CROP should continue to climb.
