CannaOne Technologies (CSE:CNNA) announced Thursday that is has appointed Mr. Rob Goehring as a new Board Member of the Company. Despite Goehring bringing more than 20 years of experience to the company, the news didn't impact CNNA stock, which is down more than 5% as of 10:52 AM EDT.
CNNA Stock: May 2, 2019
CannaOne Technologies is a Vancouver-based company that develops and markets software technology platforms that are used by the cannabis sector. Its main product is BloomKit.
On Thursday, May 2, CannaOne said Rob Goehring is now a Board Member of the Company, bringing over 20 years of experience leading technology companies. Before joining CNNA, Goehring was CMO with TIO Networks, which PayPal acquired in 2017.
"We're happy to welcome Mr. Goehring to our team," says CannaOne CEO Solomon Riby-Williams. "As we approach the launch of our international, hemp-derived CBD marketplace partnerships and continue to develop new partnerships, the timing of his addition to our Board of Directors could not be more perfect."

Riby-Williams also praises Goehring's work with RewardStream and Buyapowa, saying this experience "is of great worth to our soon to be launched marketplaces in helping to drive our scalable business and technology architecture and implement referral marketing campaigns."
The news didn't positively impact CNNA stock Thursday, however. Although, that likely doesn't have anything to do with the market being disappointed with the appointment of Rob Goehring. This is because several cannabis stocks are trading in the red today, from WEED stock to TRST stock.
According to Yahoo Finance, as of 10:52 AM EDT, CNNA stock is trading at $1.06 on the CSE, which means the cannabis stock is down 6.19%.
