Hightimes Media Corp

Hightimes Media Corp, Cannabis's most established brand, has just made the announcement that they will be taking their company public. Investors will now have the opportunity to purchase a piece of the company through the SEC's Regulation A process.

Hightimes Media Corp: Open to Anyone

New to investing and don't have a brokerage account? Not to worry, the company has made sure an existing account isn't required in order to buy into the brand.

Adam Levin, High Times CEO, told the press:

"It was important to me that this offering be open to anyone interested in joining this historic team, not just to those with brokerage accounts. We’re making history by becoming one of the first cannabis-focused companies publicly traded on the Nasdaq. We got here in no small part because of our incredible audience, who have been supporting this iconic brand for decades."

The Reg A share price will be set at $11 a share, which is a ten percent discount from its anticipated opening price on Nasdaq. If you're interested in investing—visit this link.

Green Light

Marijuana legalization will continue to spread throughout the United States; currently, 30 states offer medicinal cannabis options and a handful of states allow recreational cannabis use.

Canada just passed its Bill C-45 law and cannabis will become nationally legal throughout the country on October 17th. The demand for cannabis will continue to rise as more and more individuals buy in and, in turn, cannabis stocks should follow suit.

California already accounts for 1/3 of the marijuana producers in North America and its recreational cannabis has only been legal for six months.

Currently, the U.S. holds the title for the largest licensed marijuana producer in all of North America. Los Suenos Farms is stretched across 36 acres and houses 43,500 square feet of greenhouses.

As the demand continues to rise in both the U.S. and Canada, we will continue to see more and more cannabis companies popping up within the two countries.
