AXIM Biotechnologies Down in the Double Digits, But We Don’t Know Why

AXIM Biotechnologies stock

The AXIM Biotechnologies stock is a finicky little thing. Sometimes the stock is up enough to become the day's biggest marijuana stock gainer. Other days, well, the opposite happens.

Today, July 27th, the latter happened. While not yet deemed one of the biggest cannabis losers, AXIM Biotechnologies is down in the double digits.

In this article, we'll look at two things: AXIM stock movement over the past two months, and recent announcements from the cannabis company. If something negative was announced, that could explain the drop today, right?

AXIM Biotechnologies Stock: What's Been Going On the Past Two Months?

According to Yahoo Finance, at 1:21 p.m. EDT, AXIM Biotechnologies (OTCQB:AXIM) was trading at $1.89, which puts the stock down 10% at the time. Earlier in the day, the stock was down around 11%.

Topping it off, the New York-based company, thought to be a leader in cannabinoid development, hasn't announced anything since June 28th. Which means the stock is down for reasons unknown to the public. Investor pessimism? Lower-than-expected earnings report? Or, is it just one of those days?

We don't know; all we can do is wait to see where the AXIM stock is at when the closing bell rings.

As for the rest of the month, the AXIM stock has seen both good and bad days. In June, AXIM was one of the biggest marijuana stock losers on June 4th, June 22nd, and June 26th, the day shares dropped nearly 14% (13.76% to be precise).

This month, things started to look a bit better, although still not 100%. The AXIM stock was one of the biggest cannabis stock losers on the following days, hitting the following price marks:

  • July 9th: Shares dropped nearly 6% (5.63%) on Monday, July 9th. The stock closed at $2.885.
  • July 25th: Shares dropped a whopping 25% on Wednesday, July 25th, a mere two days ago. The AXIM stock closed at $0.045.

But there were some good days. On July 16th, shares increased 5.88%, closing at $2.70.

Announcements

Despite being an experienced company in its field, AXIM has remained fairly quiet, which doesn't appear to be doing the stock any favors.

The last announcement came on June 28th, when it announced that it would be attending the 28th Annual International Cannabinoid Research Society Symposium. The company attended as a sponsor, and it took place from June 30th – July 5th.
